Ok, I’ve Had Enough
I’ve been sick this week. I want to blame my cat but I realize there isn’t much that a cat passes to us mere humans. One of them had a nasty upper respiratory infection and I ended up with a BAD COLD and slept away much of two days. Not sure how I picked it up.
I did manage to finish one lens last night between sneezing, coughing, and other annoyances. As a natural follow up to my Best Camcorders for Still Pictures lens which has done reasonably well gaining Google attention, I made a Best Cameras with Video lens. People want to know, that’s all I can say.
Feel free to pay it a call, and don’t worry about all the sneezing and coughing thing; you know it can’t be transmitted online!
But, all of that isn’t related to what my exasperation is aboutrather it’s that I’ve decided to put an end to the shameless Guestbook spamming. I’m going to strip the HTML from my Guestbooks on every lens over the next few days. Yep, no more free rides, no more irrelevant links dang it! I think in many cases it’s just that some people don’t think of it as bad. But if I do this I have control, don’t have to spend time on it, and yet don’t have to be nasty and remove the comment or whatever. So, again I ask, why didn’t I do this before?

Sorry you haven’t been feeling good - just take lots of Vitamin C and Zinc - I have had 1 cold in the last 3 years - and I used to suffer all the time. A large glass of OJ in the morning seems to do the trick, and if I do feel I am coming down, the usual itchy eyes and general lethargy feeling, I pop an Airborne. And it goes.
I will take a look at the lenses. I love my Canon A630, but the video isn’t the greatest. Would like a camcorder too one of these days.
As far as the guestbook, why should anyone need to leave any html in my opinion? If they want to tell you about a link, they can email you. The only reasons to add html to the guestbook are to make it look pretty (but nobody does in Squidoo), or to spam. Go take it out and sleep easy

I do that on some lenses as well - and am not losing any sleep over it
But on other lenses I just set comments to approve. Doesn’t take much time, and any spammy comments (or people posting twice) can be deleted easy. Not loosing sleep over that either.
Spam goes with the territory, no need to feel guilty about making it easy on yourself handling it.
Hope you feel better soon.
