Speed Issues
I’ve begun working on a new lens today, but things have been slow. I’m not sure if it’s just me but everything I do on Squidoo the past few days has been agonizingly delayed. Out of frustration, I stopped my work and simply finished up adding a few photos to my Small Town USA lens. It’s just a bit of history and a photo gallery of the tiny rural town where I now live.
With fall here I will probably be taking some days off here and there to get out and enjoy my favorite season before winter comes blasting in upon us. The leaves are just starting to change here and there, the humidity is gone, and the temperatures are perfect for me. It’s insane, I become almost euphoric from now until January.
In the meantime of course, there’s still blogging and Squidoo lenses to keep me busy. Happy Autumn to everyone!

No Mulberry, it is not just you. I have all sorts of problems at the moment. I switch to a different page and it crashes. I refresh and get the page I want then when I switch it crashes again. Trying to rearrange modules is often a problem and I keep getting error messages. It is at its worst in the afternoons (morning for the USA) which is very frustrating as that should be my most productive time.
My feeling is that perhaps Squidoo is growing faster than the mainframe servers can cope. They would create more space if they deleted inactive accounts and WIPS that have been dormant for say more than six months - but who am I to tell HQ what to do? I am sure they will sort it out eventually and anything like this happening at a month end and the end of a quarter must be a nightmare, especially when they have all those Giant Squid wannabe lenses to check!

It has been slow, especially last night.
It could be traffic on the server, but it could also be internet traffic in their area outside of their control too.

I don’t know if clearing out the space will help, but maybe they could flag dormant lenses and accounts to be excluded from certain calculations. Depends on what they are doing - it could be there were doing maintenance as well.
