I know some folks have to schedule their social media time because they get too tied up in it...for me it's more often a need to schedule so that I remember to do it. :(

Sounds like a great plan to set aside a specific amount of time per day to work on the social thing. I've realized just how much I've fallen off on the directory submissions and other things in the past year. I used to be so disciplined about all that. Makes me wonder just how much I'm leaving on the table by not sticking with that. (And it helps to think about it as leaving money on the table!)

Am also blogging a lot more than "a bit" about Link Wheels on <a href="http://ajisalwaysjuggling.crabbysbeach.com/blogs/blogging-for-profit/">Crabbys Beach</a> ;)

I am also trying to publish more Hubs, but as you say all this takes a lot of time, but great to see how you are developing your niches.

Thanks for stopping in now and again!

Yes, I think we all learn just by hearing what other people are doing and thinking. Yet another good reason to follow other people through their blogs, lenses, and so forth.

I might not drop by here on a regular basis, but I do get these updates in my in-box from Squidoosphere, so I have been watching your progress. It is great that you are sharing what you are doing and how you are thinking - for me it is the best way to learn, through what others are doing.

Never heard of the commercial free radio device before...that's a cool idea. I'm constantly flipping through stations to avoid the blather of DJs and find actual music.

Thanks for stopping by. I have the advantage of not working another full time job, so that helps a lot. Most weeks I have at least 3-4 full days to work on this stuff.

My you have been busy lately, I envy your ability to focus and generate so many lenses and hubs.

A battery backup and surge protectro is invaluable in the USA, where so often the power might not only fluctuate, but it can go and then come back, and then go again after a few seconds. This can cause a pc (desktop) to power off, then start to reboot, and in the middle of rebooting it can go off again. Not only is this bad for the components, and might cause a hard drive crash for example, it could also cause windows corruption, which might require a complete re-install of your system.

Using a battery backup, you have 10 or more minutes after the power goes to properly shut down your system, or if the power comes back on, your system will stay up. No more lost data, and less risk of crashes.

These are really cheap these days, and it's also worth considering them for your television / cable box (and TVR!) to save re-programming or lost settings.

Looking forward to seeing the lenses.
